Thousand Year Overlook

The 1,000 year-old town built into a cliff, overlooking the Alzou Valley in south-central France. The lower-levels of the town Atop the town stands a basilica, Basilique Saint Sauveur, where pilgrims walk up the 216 rocky steps of the Grand Escalier to visit the Chapelle Miraculeuse.
